As we hit the end of May, we are at the stage where Paymark and the respective Banks will start “Disconnections” this is where the 5.1 terminals will be blocked from transacting. As soon as a 6.o terminal is installed, it will be able to “Log On” and transact straight away. DON’T DELAY – To avoid disconnection, book a replacement today. Phone 0800 5494 767

5.1 Software – 1 June 2011
5.2 Software – June 2014
6.0 Software – No date announced
Notes – The Software Sunset Date is the date that that version of software can not be used past. Note: not all terminals can be upgraded to the newer software versions. Some will need full replacement. These rules are affected by EMV Rules worldwide and changes are to keep ahead of the Fraudsters.
Last Deployment Dates – Is the last day that that version can be deployed into the market ie. the last date that Paymark and the Banks will allow that software version to be put on the Paymark Network.
