If loyalty is a promotion offered in your cafe, then Idealpos is here to help. Simply by adding customers and linking them with either a code/number, a name or a barcode, Idealpos will track their rewards and store this information in the database.
For example each time a customer purchases a coffee, Idealpos will update their loyalty progress enabling you to let them know how many are required until their free one. When a free coffee is available you will be prompted at the end of the sale to ask them if they wish to redeem it. Redemptions can be accumulated and may be used within the one sale.
Xero Accounting Integration
Having your POS software and Accounting linking and syncing, makes business easy.
The IdealPOS's integration and API with XERO allows Sales End Period data to be used for Sales Reconciliation.
Figures are balanced & correct within IdealPOS and matched, then sent to XERO, so your know your total balance.
This makes working on Accounting yourself, or with your Accountant much easier.
Reporting

Idealpos has the ability to print to multiple printers at the same time, separating a single order automatically into the different sections where dockets may be required. In a café setting this is usually the kitchen and the coffee machine.
Table Map
The graphical table map in Idealpos has the flexibility to allow you to upload a bitmap of your individual floor layout to be easily represented on screen. This will allow staff to easily align themselves to their own sections and new staff can quickly grasp which tables are located where allowing for more efficient service.
Depending on your requirements tables can be many shapes and sizes and numbered according to what you choose. Any amount of covers can be set by default for the tables when seated, this can be easily amended as required.
Coloured indicators on the table have the benefit of showing the current table status to any staff member at a glance. The iPad app Handheld Ordering can also display your map which allows you to further speed up the service.
Online Ordering & Online Shopping
Do you want your customers to be able to order ahead to save them time when they get to your venue? Lucky for you, Idealpos can handle that scenario.
Utilising an Idealpos module called WebIT, we can take orders a number of ways using various online portals. Customers simply place their order, you will receive it on your POS and can make it when required.
We also link to third-party app makers like Mobi-2-Go who streamline this process even further.
Handheld Ordering App
To enable you to make the most of service times and staff efficiency, Idealpos has developed a mobile app that allows staff to take orders on a compatible iPhone or iPad.
Table status indicators are displayed on the app, so staff no longer need to be at a POS terminal to know how each table is tracking. It is easy to build items in the app itself using the tabs and grids that are already programmed into so many databases instead of using menus.
The iPad version of the app goes a step further and allows you to view the entire table layout. It can also be set to Customer Ordering which sets the display to allow the customer to take the device and enter their own order, therefore freeing time for your staff to perform other tasks as required.
Order Numbers
Order numbers give you the flexibility to assign a number to a customer to deliver food and drinks and then re-use that number.
